Sajak karya Sutardji Colsoum Bachri yang berjudul Tradedi Winka Sihka ini, saya dengar pertama kali saat SMA kelas 3. Waktu itu yang membacakannya adalah Guru Bahasa Indonesia saya yaitu Pak Sapto Laksono. Pertama kali dengar rasanya benar-benar unik dan ternyata memiliki makna yang sangat dalam. Menurut guru saya yang membaca buku Beberapa Teori Sastra, Metode Kritik, dan Penerapannya karangan Prof. Dr. Rachmat Djoko Pradopo, dijelaskan, kata-kata kawin dan kasih yang diputus-putus dan dibalik, secara linguistik sajak tersebut tidak ada artinya, kecuali kata kawin dan kasih itu. Kata kawin dan kasih mengandung konotasi bahwa suatu perkawinan itu menimbulkan angan-angan hidup penuh kebahagiaan, terlebi bila disertai kasih sayang.
Dalam sajak itu kata kawin dideretkan lima kali secara utuh, yang artinya bahwa suatu perkawinan entah lima tahun, lima bulan, lima minggu, atau lima hari masih utuh seperti semula, yaitu kebahagiaan. Kemudian kata kawin diputus-putus, yang berarti perkawinan yang diliputi kebahagiaan itu sudah tidak utuh lagi. Misalnya mulai ada pertengkaran antara suami istri. Bahkan, kata kawin sekarang terbalik menjadi winka. Yang berarti perkawinannya sudah menjadi "neraka". Pada akhirnya terjadi tragedi winka dan sihka itu, misalnya terjadi perceraian, istri membunuh suami atau sebaliknya.
Tipografi zig-zig juga mempunyai makna mendalam, yaitu perkawinan yang semula bermakna kebahagiaan, mulai melewati bahaya yang berliku, penuh bahaya, yang akhirnya menimbulkan bencana, yaitu tragedi.
